Aim of the workshop:

The workshop set out to explore the literary, historical, musical and dance aspects of Anthony Burgess's manuscript score 'Mr W.S.', a ballet suite for full orchestra, with a view to staging a performance of it.
The workshop was held in French.
Participating were the choreographer Marie-Laure Agrapart, who was to create the ballet, two of the dancers in her company and John-Richard Lowry, Director of the Angers Conservatoire of Music and Dance whose 60-strong student orchestra would have the task of performing the piece.
